We have classes for age 4. But if the student can understand and follow instructions, 3 ½-year-olds can start the class to develop their focus, and attitude and improve their physical ability.

For the quality of instructions, we strictly limit the number of students to an instructor in class. You need to make a schedule ahead to take classes.

You are welcome to watch the class. We recommend taking a trial class.

It’ll take 3~4 years. It all depends on the amount of time you devote to training. Each student will progress at a speed that is equal to their personal abilities. We have various programs to achieve your goal in Taekwondo. Slow and steady wins the race! If you know it, you will like it. If you like it, you will enjoy it.
Your belt is a part of the Taekwondo uniform. Always wear your belt proudly with your uniform. You do not need to wash your belt. Your sweat, blood, and dirt from training will turn your white belt into a black belt someday. After getting a black belt, it will wear out into a white belt again. Your old belts are the history of your training. That is why TG Taekwondo requires you to keep all of your old belts to make a history frame when you get a black belt. Keep it on!

With Taekwondo, the possibilities are endless! Dare to try something new and unleash your full potential. Taekwondo is not just a martial art, it is a mindset and a way of life that will challenge you physically and mentally while helping you achieve your goals. Through discipline and perseverance, you will improve your strength, coordination, and agility, and gain a sense of accomplishment and self-confidence that will carry over into all aspects of your life. Remember, every journey starts with a single step, so take that first step now and see where Taekwondo can take you. You are capable of greatness, so let’s kickstart your journey towards achieving it with Taekwondo as the catalyst!

The Tenets of Taekwondo embody a code of conduct for living, designed to help us achieve our fullest potential. With Courtesy, we show respect to others, and in doing so, earn their respect in return. Through Perseverance, we learn that success is the result of hard work and dedication, and we never give up on ourselves or our dreams. Integrity is our moral compass, guiding us to always do the right thing, even when no one is watching. Self-Control teaches us to master our emotions and impulses, allowing us to make sound decisions based on reason and logic. And finally, the Indomitable Spirit within us gives us the courage and strength to overcome any obstacle in our path. Together, these Tenets form the foundation of a life well-lived, one that is filled with purpose, meaning, and mission.

Definitely! TG Taekwondo teaches each child at his/her own pace. They are not measured against each other. There are no “second string” or “alternate” players, and no one sits on the bench.

We would love to offer you a trial lesson in Taekwondo. Our experienced instructors will be delighted to guide you through the techniques and skills necessary to become proficient in this amazing martial art. During the session, you’ll learn the basics of Taekwondo and get a feel for our teaching style and facilities. There’s no need to worry if you’re a beginner, as our friendly and approachable instructors will be there to support you every step of the way. We believe that Martial Arts is more than just a physical activity; it is a mental and emotional journey that can transform your life. We look forward to the opportunity to show you how Taekwondo can improve your overall quality of life!

Classes consist of self-defense training, kicking, controlled step sparring, forms(routines of movement), and physical conditioning. All classes are taught by experienced authorized Kukkiwon Taekwondo Black Belt instructors.
Belts are goals for students to meet on their road to Taekwondo training and personal improvement. Minimum attendance and qualification of the curriculum are required to take the promotion testing for the next belt. You need approved stickers of Poomsae, Kick Combinations, and Spirit of Taekwondo on the belt to list up your name.
Taekwondo originated from Korea, Karate is from Japan, and Kung Fu is from China. Taekwondo as an Olympic Martial Arts Sport is well known for its kicking. However, it doesn’t mean Taekwondo only emphasizes kicking and lower body. Taekwondo Poomsae (Form: Routines of movement) have diverse hand and entire body techniques (elbow, knee, grabbing, and more) and a symmetric-training system for both the right and left sides of your body, not like other Martial Arts. Students also develop the spirit of Taekwondo (courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit) by training body and mind in TG Taekwondo.
Olympic-style sparring has been developed as a practical contact sport that has rules and full protective gear as a game. Taekwondo sparring is known as the best of Martial Arts in its kicking skills. Because kicking is 4 times stronger than punching and can hit a target in 0. 4 seconds. You will learn practical self-defense techniques in this class. You can control your mind more by controlling your body in the Taekwondo game, the contact sport.
