Thunder comes from the sky and is absorbed by the earth. Thunder is one of the most powerful natural forces. This poomsae is intended to be performed with power resembling the thunder for which it is named.

Blue Belt will learn #1~12 motions.

Hand Spear Thrust 편손끝 찌르기 [pyeonsonkkeut jjileugi] pull hand knife back from chest, start thrusting on waist

Back Fist Knuckle Strike 등주먹 치기 [deungjumeog chigi] to the vital point between nose and upper lip.

Hand Knife Supporting Block 양손날 막기 [yangsonnal maggi] supporting other hand for more power or preliminary motion. The palm of the blocking hand is kept facing upward and the other keeps palm facing back ward to begin the blocking. The finger-tips of the other hand are kept parallel with the shoulder and the elbow slightly bent is smoothly lowered, while the finger-tips of the blocking hand pass the front of the nose and the assisting hand is drown toward the stomach pit.
